The five members behind every JTR report

The five members in charge of every report we deliver.

Every MEISAI extraction, every PDF receipt, every monthly recap — handled by the same five-member system, with a human final approval on anything that affects a customer.

AI assists with extraction and verification — it does not guarantee outcomes. Anything that affects a customer is reviewed by a person before it leaves the team.

Origin

Why we built this

Operating JapanETCcard for over a decade made one customer pain point unmistakable: turning raw ETC toll data into usable records was eating real hours every month. Japan's MEISAI system already publishes the underlying data — but not in a form that day-to-day business teams, fleet managers, embassies or accounting departments can actually work with. JapanTollReceipts.jp exists to fill that gap. We built it to take everything we learned supporting 13 years of ETC customers and turn it into a quiet, dependable layer that produces clean toll receipts, organised reports, and bilingual exports — so the work shrinks from hours to minutes.

  • 13 years of ETC support knowledge
  • Observed repetition in customer workflows
  • Built for real operational use
Launching December 31, 2026 — Key milestone

The next-generation JapanTollReceipts.jp — new production site

A brand-new JapanTollReceipts.jp production site is scheduled to go live on December 31, 2026. Built around the same daily, weekly and monthly ETC report cadence customers rely on today, the new platform refreshes the validation pipeline, PDF / CSV output, and customer dashboard for a faster, more consistent operational experience.

The launch is coordinated with the new JapanCardETC.com production site — both go live on the same day. We will roll over to the new platform once end-to-end operational validation is complete, with no interruption to your scheduled reports, account or support.

What it does

Capabilities that quietly do the work every day.

  • Daily ETC reports

Each morning by 10:00 JST, a PDF and CSV summary of the previous day's tolls lands in your inbox. No MEISAI login required.

  • Smart spending alerts

Set per-card thresholds. Get notified the moment daily, weekly or monthly toll spend crosses a configured line.

  • Reimbursement-ready reports

Submission-ready PDFs with date, route, entry/exit IC, plate matching and amount lined up row by row.

  • Authorized vehicle registry

Whitelist your fleet. Unlisted usage is flagged for human review — never automatically blocked.

  • MEISAI automation

JTR pulls, formats and ships your ETC usage automatically — including silent re-authentication and connection health monitoring.

  • Vehicle usage review

Off-hours use, repeat routes and new combinations are surfaced for human review. Final judgment always stays with a person.

Full roadmap
  • In ProgressQ3 2026

    48-hour quick-view dashboard panel

A dedicated dashboard widget surfacing today's and yesterday's delivered reports, designed for fast morning glance-checks.

  • In ProgressQ3 2026

Dashboard Mode 3 — latest delivered report tile

For report-ready Personal customers, the Overview should show the latest delivered report directly on the dashboard with the delivery date and safe View / Download actions, instead of forcing customers to open the Reports Hub first.

  • In ProgressQ3 2026

    Legacy URL 301 redirects

Legacy URL → new Guides Hub redirect map is prepared and validated, and is rolling out at the edge to preserve SEO link-equity as we consolidate.

  • In ProgressQ3 2026

    Legacy alternate-domain routing cleanup

A legacy alternate-TLD alias is being consolidated onto the canonical .jp domain, handled cleanly at the edge as routing completes — so every visitor lands on one consistent address.

  • In ProgressQ3 2026

Mid-Session Resilience for Long Data Pulls

Long-running data pulls gain mid-flight health checks so partial successes are preserved and resumed cleanly instead of restarted from zero. Customers see steadier delivery timelines on heavy months and on accounts with many active cards.

  • In ProgressQ3 2026

    Self-Healing Service Reliability

A background reliability layer continuously watches the report-delivery and toll-portal connection paths and keeps them running smoothly automatically — so delivery stays steady before anything ever reaches a customer. Customers simply experience consistent, on-time reports and a steady public live-status pill.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about JapanTollReceipts.jp

  • What does JapanTollReceipts do?
JapanTollReceipts automatically retrieves ETC toll usage records, runs a pre-send validation pipeline of 31 checks, and emails clean PDF + CSV reports to drivers, fleet managers and back offices on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule.
  • Is JapanTollReceipts the same as MEISAI?
No. JapanTollReceipts.jp is an independent service that works around the official ETC Usage Inquiry Service (MEISAI). We do not bill tolls or collect unpaid fees — we deliver pre-validated reports of your own ETC usage to your inbox.
  • What report formats are available?
Every scheduled delivery includes both a human-readable PDF and a machine-readable CSV — so finance teams can drop the file directly into accounting, expense or fleet-management systems without rekeying.
  • Is the service for individuals or businesses?
Both. Individual drivers, corporate fleets, dealership programs and government / public-sector users all subscribe to the service, with scheduled email reports tuned for each use case.
  • Are reports delivered in Japanese or English?
Both. Customers choose the email language (Japanese or English) at signup, and the PDF and CSV layouts are tuned for the chosen language without changing the underlying data.
